Lyubimov Alexey

Alexei Lyubimov graduated from the Russian Education Academy University in 2006 with a degree in Clinical Psychology, specializing in teaching psychology.

2008 – 2009: Acquired additional professional teaching qualifications, specializing in teaching methodology for the blind and psychology for the blind.

2016: Successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation titled "Pedagogical technology for training specialists who teach spatial orientation to blind schoolchildren" at the Correctional Pedagogics Institute of the Russian Academy of Education.

2022 – 2023: Underwent training at Innopolis University to become a software testing specialist.

2023: Enrolled in the MA course in Software Engineering at the Faculty of Software Engineering and Computer Technology at the ITMO National Research University.

Alexei has extensive experience in implementing accessibility measures for persons with disabilities, going back to 2005. He has worked with various government internet resources, including the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in 2009 and the Unified Portal of State Services in 2012.

2009 – 2020: Accessibility expert at Yandex and at Sberbank from 2016 to 2018.

Since 2006, Alexei has actively promoted accessibility in the Russian segment of the internet. He was a frequent speaker at RIF conferences on accessibility on the RuNet from 2008 to 2014 and organized several thematic sections on the topic. In 2011, he took part in developing the first official authorized translation of the international standard WCAG 2.0.

Since 2021, Alexei Lyubimov has worked as the project manager for the Digital Business Department at VTB, where he focuses on implementing accessibility features for persons with disabilities in VTB Online.
