Bertrand de La Chapelle is the Executive Director and co-founder of the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network. He has been promoting and implementing multi-stakeholder processes for Internet Governance for over 18 years, drawing on his diverse background as a diplomat, civil society activist and technology entrepreneur.

Bertrand de La Chapelle served on the ICANN Board in 2010-2013, he was France's Special Representative for the Information Society (2006-2010) and an active participant in the World Summit on the Information Society (2002-2005), where he advocated for dialogue between civil society, the private sector and governments.
