Registration opens for IV Youth Digital Forum

Registration has opened for the IV Youth Digital Forum (Youth RIGF-2024), which will take place on April 5, 2024 at Moscow's Cyberhouse.

The event is open to undergraduate and graduate students, recent graduates and anyone who is interested in the field of information technology and the topic of internet governance, under the age of 30.

Youth RIGF will provide an opportunity to talk with leading IT experts, discuss the future of technology, and take part in one of the four sections, where speakers and participants will talk about the most topical trends in the development of ICT:

  • The internet of our bodies: The future of technology;
  • Wit’s Cybertreasure: Education in the AI era;
  • New personnel decide everything: Automation and robotization;
  • Hard to be a human: Society of the Digital Age.

At the forum, Digitalization for Good, a joint prize of the Competence Center for Global IT Cooperation (a forum sponsor) and the Youth Digital Commissioner, will be awarded. The purpose of the award is to find and reward active young people who are involved in increasing digital literacy among youth, as well as protecting their rights on the internet.

In addition, the forum will host the award ceremony for the Safe Digital Childhood Award from the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment. The award will be presented in four categories: Online Safety Lessons for teachers, Adults and Children on the Internet for parents, Best Youth Project for children aged 14-18, and Family Digital Safety for family projects in the digital sphere.

Youth RIGF is taking place for the fourth time and is part of the Russian Internet Governance Forum (RIGF), which is held under the auspices of the UN. Like last year, it will be held in hybrid format.
