On May 12, the Digital Business Space (Moscow) will host the Youth Internet Governance Forum (Youth RIGF 2023), organized by the Center for Global IT- Cooperation and the Center for International Promotion with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund and the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ.

Bachelor's and master's students, PhDs, recent graduates, and everyone who is interested in the field of information technology and the topic of Internet Governance, under the age of 30, can take part in the event. Stream will be conducted for those who will not be able to attend the Forum offline.

Youth RIGF will give a chance to communicate with leading experts in the field of IT, discuss the future of the global network, and also take part in one of four sessions, where speakers and participants will discuss the most relevant development trends not only in the Internet, but also in the field of information technology in general in Russia and in the world:

• Whirl of the Darknet: Protection from the "Dark Forces" of the Web
• "Create Not Download": National Content
• How deep is your fake: Online Fraud Techniques
• IT Volunteers and Information Security: Digital Innovation for the Benefit of Society

The Forum is going to held on the birthday of the .РФ. In honor of this significant date, the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ will hold a special quiz dedicated to the development of the Runet, the winners of which will receive memorable prizes. Also, the Center will hold a master class "The State and Development of the Russian Language on the Internet: How to Take Into Account the Language Preferences of Users". Participants will discuss the technological aspects of the Universal Acceptance of domain names and e-mail addresses written in national alphabets, and learn how the world's largest Cyrillic domain .РФ helps in the preservation and development of the Russian language on the Internet.

In addition, a joint award of the Center for Global IT-Cooperation and the Youth Digital Ombudsman "Digitalization for Good" will be awarded within the framework of the Forum. The purpose of the award is to find and reward active young people who are engaged in increasing digital literacy among young people, as well as protecting their rights on the Internet.

Also at the Forum, the winners of the Safe Digital Childhood Award, a new project of the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment, aimed at supporting projects to develop a safe digital environment throughout Russia, will be awarded.

Youth RIGF is held for the third time and is inextricably linked with the Russian Internet Governance Forum (RIGF), which, is a national initiative within the global IGF.
