Secular job: diplomat. Speaks two foreign languages – English and Chinese: Faculty of International Relations, MGIMO University.
Military department of MGIMO University, military translator, reserve lieutenant.
Master's degree in International Management, Faculty of Economics, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.
2006-2011: Moscow Theological Seminary. Specialized education in bioethics and reproductive technologies.
Worked in the field of international conference support, organized work with foreign journalists during the opening of the international headquarters of the World Public Forum - Dialogue of Civilizations in Vienna, took part in the preparation of the international seminar Dialogue of Cultures and Civilizations: The Bridge between Human Rights and Moral Values under the auspices of UNESCO (Paris, France).
2011-2015: Coordinator of the Patriarchal Press Service, participated in the preparation of working trips and visits of His Holiness the Patriarch and related information coverage in Russian and foreign media.
By executive order of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia dated June 1, 2015, upon ordination to the rank of presbyter, he was appointed full-time priest of the Church of All Saints on Filyovskaya Poima in Moscow.
By executive order of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia dated May 29, 2019, he was appointed a full-time cleric of the Patriarchal Metochion of the Church of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos in Fedosino.
In 2017, by decision of the Bureau of the Presidium of the World Russian People's Council, he was appointed co-chairman of the WRPC working group on healthcare and life protection.
By decision of the Holy Synod of August 25, 2020, he was appointed Chairman of the Patriarchal Commission on Family Issues, Protection of Motherhood and Childhood.
Member of the Synodal Commission on Bioethics, member of the Russian Government Council on Guardianship, member of the Expert Council under the State Duma Committee on Issues of Family, Women and Children, member of the Council on Family Law under the Federation Council, member of the State Duma Expert Council on Improving Social Legislation, member of the Expert Council under the State Duma Committee on Education.
