Business consultant on information security, Positive Technologies

Born in Moscow in 1973, Alexei Lukatsky graduated from the Moscow Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation (MIREA) in 1996, specializing in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Information Security. With over 30 years of experience in the field, Lukatsky began his career in information security in 1992 in various state and commercial organizations, starting as an encryption software programmer and administrator and progressing to roles such as analyst and business development manager.

He has authored over 600 articles and five books on the subject and delivers lectures on information security at numerous educational institutions and organizations. Lukatsky has developed 30 courses on information security and has been running the blog titled Business Without Danger since 2007.

Lukatsky's Telegram channel, Lukatsky's Post, has over 23,000 subscribers. He has also been actively involved in the development and review of numerous regulations related to information security and personal data. From 2004 to 2022, Lukatsky held various roles at Cisco's Russian office, including overseeing the development of the information security business in Russia, the CIS countries, and Europe, as well as a range of other tasks on internal information security. Since 2022, he has been working as a business consultant on information security at Positive Technologies.
