Before joining Skolkovo, Yevgeny worked for Digital Economy NGO where he headed an AI function and was in charge of:

• capacity building within the Russian expert community on AI;
• carrying out research on AI applications across various sectors;
• making presentations at various events, moderating expert sessions and roundtable discussions.

His prior engagements include serving as

• Head of the department tasked with assessing research performance at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation;
• Head of the department for research infrastructure development at the Federal Agency for Research Organizations;
• Head of Research Infrastructure Monitoring Division, Russian Research Institute of Economics, Politics and Law in Science and Technology (RIEPL).
