In 2005, Anna Ivanova graduated with honors from the Philological Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University. She began her career in 2000 at the Conde Nast publishing house, later serving as editor for the Ozon.ru online marketplace from 2003 to 2004.

In 2008, she moved to the Republic of Serbia to work as a lecturer at the University of Belgrade (Univerzitet u Beogradu) and as a consultant for the translation department at NIS (Naftna Industrija Srbije). There, she managed complex technical documentation processes, oversaw simultaneous interpretation, coordinated translation for production site visits and international conferences, and advised the office of the company’s president.

Returning to Russia in 2011, Ivanova became CEO and shareholder of the SMI2 news aggregator, building a federal-level news network from scratch. She was listed in the Young Media Managers rating in the Top Management (CEO) category in 2016 and 2017. After the company’s sale in April 2019, she joined Rambler&Co, establishing and leading its Content and Technology Department. Since 2023, she has also served as Executive Director of the Rambler portal.

Anna Ivanova is a frequent speaker, moderator, and jury member at major industry events; a lecturer; and co-chair of the Media cluster at the Russian Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC).
