Maria Kolesnikova, Chief Analyst at the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, Поддерживаю.РФ Project Lead Maria Kolesnikova has extensive experience in Information technology, having worked in this field for over 20 years. At the beginning of her career, she worked in telecom operators, hosting providers, domain name registrars. Since 2007, she has held various positions at the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, including head of marketing, external communications and various projects, related to promotion, security and development of the domain space. She has organized many industry events both in Russia and abroad. Currently, she specializes in the internationalization of domain and email addressing, Maria is a Chair of the Russian Working Group on Universal Acceptance, Chair of the Regional Coordination Group on Universal Acceptance in CIS and Eastern Europe region, a member of Communications Working Group and Coordination Group of the UASG and other working groups. She has been a speaker at numerous international and local events, gives lectures to students and young professionals in Russian universities.
