Damir Salikhov graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) in 2014 and was awarded a PhD in Law in 2017.

From September 2018 to August 2023, he served as a teaching assistant in the Department of Constitutional and Municipal Law at the same MSU faculty.

Since January 2023, he has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Law at the Faculty of Law, National Research University Higher School of Economics.

He joined Yandex in July 2023 as Head of Regulatory Initiatives Support.
