Maxim Sonikov
Maxim was born on April 20, 1982, in Ryazan. In 2005, he graduated from the Ryazan State Academy of Radio Engineering, with a degree in Information Security. In 2011, he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Economics and Finance, with a degree in Finance and Lending.
He began his career in 2002 as an information security specialist at the Ryazan Metal Ceramics Instrumentation Plant.
During a period from August 2004 to August 2022, he held several positions at the Ryazan Region Department of the Federal Treasury.
He holds the civilian rank of Russian Federation Civil Service Counsellor of the First Degree.
In 2018, he received the Commemorative Badge for Highest Achievements from the Governor of the Ryazan Region.
During a period from October 2022 to September 2024, he served as Deputy Director and then Director of the Ryazan Region Information Technology Center.
By Directive No. 318-rg of the Governor of the Ryazan Region of September 3, 2024, he was appointed Minister of Digital Development, Information Technology and Communications of the Ryazan Region.
Married, with two daughters.
